CFDISK.1EH - IDE to CompactFlash adapter

The CFDISK.1E (IDE) allows CompactFlash modules to be used in any system that includes a standard IDE 40 pin connector.
Once the platform starts with the adapter and the CF card plugged in, the compactflash module appears to the system to be a standard disk drive.
Unlike other flash storage systems such DiskOn-Chip modules this solution does not require drivers or additional software to run the unit.
The CF card can be the primary boot device containing the OS and application.

Features:

• Support CompactFlashTM cards (Type I & II) or a IBM MicrodriveTM
• Due to limitations in the CompactFlash specification, this adapter does not support hot insertion of cards.
• IDE power connector.
• Board is fully assembled (not a kit).
• Transparent to the operating system and does not require any drivers

• Jumper configuration for master (jumper on) or slave (jumper off). Supports IDE DMA.
• Solid state replacement for 3.5" hard disk drives, 40 pin IDE connector.
• Mounting hole locations same as the bottom holes of a hard disk drive.
• Comes with an IDE power connector onboard.
• Board size is 2" x 4".
