Η νέα μας ναυαρχίδα στα router, η σειρά CCR1072, έχει στο κέντρο της ένα Tilera 72 core CPU, κάθε core (πυρήνας) είναι χρονιασμένος στο 1GHz, και για να χρησιμοποιήσει πλήρως την δύναμή του, το CCR1072 είναι εφοδιασμένο με οκτώ ανεξάρτητα συνδεδεμένα 10G SFP+ ports.
Η μονάδα έρχεται εφοδιασμένη με εγκατεστημένο RouterOS L6, 16GB εσωτερικής ECC RAM, touchscreen color LCD, δυο αποσπώμενα (hotplug) power supplies για εφεδρεία, smart card slot, microUSB, κανονικού μεγέθους USB, microSD και 2x M.2 slots για πρόσθετο αποθηκευτικό χώρο.
Χάρη στο μοναδικό επεξεργαστή 72 πυρήνων και ports άμεσα συνδεδεμένα με την CPU, το CCR1072 έχει δυνατότητα για πάνω από 100 εκατομμύρια πακέτα το δευτερόλεπτο σε ταχύτητα μεταφοράς δεδομένων.
